With over 25 years of experience in industry and academia, I am a computer science AI researcher and entrepreneur specializing in the end-to-end development of large-scale AI applications. My expertise includes AI, Deep Learning, MLOps, and Data Science, supported by two PhDs—one in Computer Science/Artificial Intelligence and another in Project Management—and a specialization in AI from Stanford. As a Senior Lecturer at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, I educate and mentor the next generation of AI professionals through courses such as "Data Science with Deep Learning." My responsibilities also include evaluating project proposals for the cybersecurity industry, e-health initiatives, energy management systems, and enterprise business process management. Focused on deep learning and computer vision, I led Cloudifier’s data science team in creating innovative solutions that leverage AI to optimize cloud computing services. My role involved the development of algorithms that improve image recognition, object detection, and other computer vision tasks, enhancing the overall performance of Cloudifier’s platform. These innovations contributed to the company’s reputation as a leader in AI-driven cloud technologies.
As the founder and CEO of Venture Capital Hub, I provided strategic consultancy to technology startups, focusing on grant financing, venture capital and business development. My expertise in AI and project management allowed me to guide startups through the complex process of securing funding and scaling their operations.

My contributions were critical in shaping policies that supported the growth and modernization of Romania's information and communication technology sector.
As President, I led the restructuring of a 250-employee organization as per IMF directives. My leadership involved streamlining operations, enhancing organizational efficiency, and implementing strategic initiatives that aligned with international standards. The restructuring process significantly improved the center's ability to manage and deliver critical information society projects on a national scale.
As the Founder and CEO, I spearheaded the development of various applications with embedded expert systems and machine learning based approaches, catering to a diverse range of industries. My leadership in Knowledge Investment Group led to the successful execution of numerous outsourcing contracts, providing high-quality software solutions that met the unique needs of clients globally in areas such as consumer goods, advertising, cyber security, pharma. My doctoral research focused on advanced deep learning techniques and their applications in UI artificial scenene analysis . The dissertation explored innovative approaches to neural network architecture search and optimization, contributing to the academic and practical understanding of AI’s capabilities. My work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences.
